  13.     I have a severe problem..... I have just put my trusty A4000 into 
  14. a custom made tower case and Zorro expansion. (Made by GSoft in 
  15. Adelaide) Everything is working fine, including a total of 5 Zorro cards:

  17.     EGS Spectrum
  18.     Multiface III
  19.     Quicknet ethernet
  20.     A4091 SCSI 2
  21.     Vlab Composite

  23. However, now the system is only recognising Fast RAM in one megabyte 
  24. blocks. Ie: I have 2 4Mb SIMMs for fast RAM, yet the system is only 
  25. picking this up as a total of 2 Mb. If I remove one of these  SIMMs, I 
  26. get only 1 Mb of fast ram... etc etc...

  28. I know there is a jumper on the motherboard that configures or determines 
  29. the appropriate SIMM size. This is definately set correctly (ie: 1 Mb vs 
  30. the 256k setting).

  32. I have checked the pins and they seem OK. I have also replaced thew 
  33. jumper used. There does not appear to be any damage to the pins
  34. or  solder, and no apparent broken tracks etc. 
  35.  
  36. Is there something that I have missed, or can anyone help me out 
  37. otherwise?
